Project Notes: These 2 buildings were both 2-story single-resident-occupancy shared living space over ground-level retail separated by a courtyard with tricky bike parking roof that essentially tied the structures together at the lower level and required some hefty shear connections to ensure the buildings swaying out of sync in a seismic or wind event maintained integrity.
