Project Notes: The Royer Residence and Guest House is a 3-story residence connected to a 2-story guest house via a 30 foot long walking bridge.  The 2 structures feature full height windows, a large open living/dining area, and subtle angles throughout.  The lower levels of each structure required concrete construction with slotted holes to allow flood water to flow through due to the site’s proximity to the Clackamas River.
