Project Notes: This large 2-story senior housing project featured U-shaped layout with offset shearwalls requiring hefty continuity ties to bind the 3 areas.  The entry lobby and restaurant had long spans over open spaces and a covered entry walkway with cantilever steel columns supporting it laterally.  This project was also designed for a future walkout basement if additional housing was needed.
